Terms and Conditions of Service

About this service
Us Together is an independent therapeutic support service operated by Gareth Sidwell. This service draws on CBT, existential psychology, and the Reflective Agency Model to support individuals experiencing overthinking, rumination, and difficulty with life direction. It is not a clinical, medical, or psychiatric service. Gareth Sidwell is not a certified psychologist, psychiatrist, or GP. If you are in crisis or require urgent medical or psychiatric support, this service is not the appropriate starting point.
Crisis support
If you are in crisis or need urgent support, please contact the relevant services for your location.
UK: Contact your GP, call 116 123 to reach Samaritans, text SHOUT to 85258, or go to your nearest emergency department.
US: Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, text HOME to 741741 to reach the Crisis Text Line, or go to your nearest emergency room.
Sessions
Sessions are fifty five minutes in duration and conducted online via Google Meet. The session rate is £60 per session for UK clients and $80 per session for US clients. Payment is taken in advance of each session through Acuity Scheduling via Stripe. Sessions are confirmed upon receipt of payment. If payment is not received the session will not be held.
Cancellation and rescheduling
The cancellation and rescheduling policy applies to all booked sessions. Sessions cancelled with more than 48 hours notice will be rescheduled without charge. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice or missed without notice will be charged at the full session rate. Full details are set out in the cancellation policy.
Ending the working relationship
Either party may end the working relationship at any time by giving notice by email. No minimum notice period is required unless a session has already been booked, in which case the standard cancellation policy applies to that session. I reserve the right to end the working relationship if conduct during sessions is abusive, threatening, or inappropriate. In those circumstances the session will be charged in full and no refund will be issued.
Limitation of liability
This service is provided in good faith and with professional care. However, outcomes cannot be guaranteed and no specific results are promised. Us Together accepts no liability for decisions made by clients as a result of the work undertaken. Clients retain full responsibility for their own choices and actions throughout and after the working relationship.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
